Grammoire

GRAMMOIRE is a concept demo for tile-based puzzle game, centred around the idea of “orthographic neighbours” – words of equal length that differ by only one letter. 

The player controls an amateur wizard on a quest to master the titular spellbook of Grammoire. The book provides the player with a single letter at the start of each puzzle, which then can be swapped with letters in names of objects throughout the level. Changing an object’s name transforms the object itself, introducing new interactions and bringing the player closer to victory.

CONTROLS:

- MOVEMENT: LMB click on tile to set destination. 

- INTERACTION: hover over an interactable object, LMB click to INTERACT (varies from object to object) and RMB to CHANGE.
